The project began with a full UX and UI design audit of the HeyBud website. I reviewed the site’s layout structure, typography, spacing, color usage, and component consistency, along with the overall brand alignment and tone of voice. I also evaluated accessibility considerations, product discovery paths, and key conversion moments throughout the customer journey. This audit uncovered opportunities to reduce cognitive load, clarify content hierarchy, and create a more intentional visual rhythm across pages. Based on the findings from the audit, I developed a set of strategic design recommendations prioritized by impact. These recommendations focused on improving page structure, guiding user attention more effectively, strengthening calls to action, and refining product page layouts to better educate users and build trust. The strategy was designed to be practical and implementation-ready, allowing HeyBud to see value quickly. Following alignment on direction, I translated these insights into high-fidelity design work. This included refined layouts, improved UI components, and visual adjustments that enhanced consistency and clarity across the site. Care was taken to balance skincare credibility with HeyBud’s lifestyle-forward brand personality, ensuring the final designs felt polished, confident, and aligned with the brand.
