AstroMeaning is a modern astrology platform designed to help users explore their birth charts, daily transits, compatibility readings, and spiritual insights with clarity and ease. Originally launched as a functional but visually dated website, the platform had grown popular among astrology enthusiasts, but the experience had become cluttered, overwhelming, and difficult for new users to navigate. I undertook a full UX/UI redesign to create an intuitive, accessible, and emotionally engaging experience that preserved the depth of its tools while modernizing its interface.
The goal of the AstroMeaning redesign was to transform a feature-rich but visually outdated and complex astrology platform into a modern, intuitive, and accessible experience. The project aimed to simplify navigation, improve task completion for both new and experienced users, enhance visual clarity and hierarchy, and ensure accessibility for all users. Ultimately, the objective was to create a platform that preserved the depth and accuracy of its astrology tools while making the overall experience more engaging, meaningful, and emotionally resonant.
The redesign of AstroMeaning followed a human-centered design approach, beginning with a comprehensive audit of the existing platform. I conducted a heuristic evaluation, mapping key user flows, identifying pain points, and reviewing community feedback to understand where users struggled. With these insights, I restructured the information architecture, grouping tools and resources into intuitive categories like Charts, Daily Insights, Compatibility, and Learning Resources.
The redesign transformed AstroMeaning into a modern, intuitive, and accessible platform. Users experienced faster task completion, clearer navigation, and increased confidence when exploring complex astrology tools. The visual overhaul reinforced trust and engagement, making the platform approachable for both beginners and advanced users.
