Dark Lillies
A 2D platformer about mercy: sense who is underneath the curse, then choose to strike or to purify. Playable prototype out now — art and story deep in progress.

Dark Lillies is a platformer I’m building from scratch — code, art, and story. It is nowhere near finished, and that’s the point of putting it here: this is a FAFO file with the development happening in the open. The current prototype is playable in the browser right now.
Notes from the experiment
What I’m making
A thousand years ago the kingdom of Veloria bloomed — and then the curse came. You play a priestess of the Order of the Lily, and the game’s one big idea lives in its verbs: you can Sense the corrupted to reveal the person trapped under the curse, and then you choose — strike them down, or hold your ground and purify them. The game counts both. Mercy is a mechanic, not a cutscene.
Where it stands
The prototype is playable now — movement, combat, sensing, purifying, and a restoration tally, all in a single self-contained HTML file with placeholder art. I’m currently deep in the artwork and the storyline, and this will not be finished for a long time. That’s fine. It’s the file I keep coming back to.
